IPSWICH, Mass. — June 13, 2013 — Collections from Al Manhal, the largest provider of electronic resources in the Arab world, will be searchable via EBSCO Information Service’s (EBSCO) robust and comprehensive discovery service, EBSCO Discovery Service™ (EDS). The agreement between EBSCO and Al Manhal will allow metadata for their eBook, eJournals, eReports and eDissertation collections to be added to EDS.

The eJournal content covers humanities and social sciences as well as topics in the science, technical and medical fields. Al Manhal eReports databases include daily aggregated news of the latest regional issues in addition to more in-depth analyses of political, economic and security events in the region, delivered weekly and monthly. eDisserations are written by Arabic students and go through an evaluation process by leading experts before they are published.
