Rodgers Memorial Public Library Chooses Equinox and Goes Live on Evergreen

The George H. and Ella M. Rodgers Memorial Library has gone live with Evergreen open source ILS. Equinox Software provided data migration and staff training services and will continue to provide ongoing technical support for the library’s Evergreen installation. The new online catalog for the library can be viewed at

Located in Hudson, New Hampshire, the library was constructed in 2009 through a generous donation by Alvin and G. Phillip Rodgers in memory of their parents. The library serves the community of Hudson, NH, a town of 24,000 people about 50 miles north of Boston. 10,300 patron and 61, 000 bibliographic titles were migrated to the new ILS.

Shae Tetterton, Equinox Project Manager, says, “The folks at Rodgers were a pleasure to work with, always on top of things and working hard to make this transition successful for their staff. I'm so pleased to have them as part of our Evergreen community.”

Charlie Matthews, Director of Rodgers Memorial Library, says, “As an open source system, Evergreen allows us to extend beyond reliance on a single vendor to both reduce costs and benefit from the collaborative efforts of a dedicated and talented group of developers. We are the second New Hampshire library system to move to the Evergreen system.”
