Brill adds the journal Climate Law to its publishing programme, effective immediately.

Brill, the international scholarly publisher, adds the peer-reviewed journal Climate Law from IOS Press to its growing International Environmental Law portfolio. Climate Law is an international journal on climate change and the law. Its editorial board includes the field's leading academics and practitioners, and publishes peer-reviewed articles on legal and interdisciplinary topics. It has a substantial book review section and appears quarterly.

The journal fits well with Brill’s prestigious list in International Law under the Martinus Nijhoff imprint. It equally strengthens Brill’s position as a scholarly publisher in the niche area of environmental law and climate change.

Effective immediately, Brill assumes publishing responsibilities for the journal title. As of 1 September 2013, the title will be available via Brill’s customary distribution channels. To ensure a smooth transition of the journal, the online version will continue to be hosted on the IOS Press platform until the end of 2013.

Volume 4 will be published by Brill in 2014 and, together with the back volumes, will be made available through the Brill Online Books and Journals platform. More information on the journal and pricing can be found shortly at: brill.com.

For more information on the acquisition, contact Marie Sheldon, Publisher International Law and International Relations, sheldon@brill.com or + 1 (617) 263 2323, ext. 138.
