    FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

    Duluth, GA —August 9, 2013

Equinox Software is proud to announce that Albemarle Regional Library has gone live on Evergreen as part of the NC Cardinal consortium. Equinox Software provides system administration and technical support to the entire NC Cardinal Consortium and oversaw both data migration and staff training for the newest member libraries.

Albemarle Regional Library has seven branches across four North Carolina Counties and a regional office that serves the entire system. They are the fifteenth library system to go live as part of NC Cardinal, the state-wide resource sharing initiative of the North Carolina State Library. The online catalog for the entire consortium can be viewed at www.nccardinal.org.

Shae Tetterton, Equinox Project Manager says, “Watching NC Cardinal grow this year has been very exciting and Albemarle is a wonderful addition to this already strong consortium. I must also give the NC State Library folks kudos for sending several staff out to the branches to make sure the go live was as smooth as possible.”

“We are thrilled that the library will be able to join a growing consortium of North Carolina public libraries and be able to offer resources that may otherwise be out of reach to our patrons,” says Gary Hoyle, Regional Library Director.
