    EBSCO Publishing Releases K-8 and High School E-book Collections
    ~New E-book Subscription Collections Align with
    Common Core Guidelines for Grade K-8 and 9-12 ~

    IPSWICH, Mass. — November 1, 2012 — EBSCO Publishing (EBSCO) continues its growth of e-book products with two new grade-appropriate e-book subscription collections for the school market. eBook K-8 Collection™ and eBook High School Collection™ are available for schools looking to find full-text e-books specifically catered to their needs. The collections align with Common Core guidelines for Grades K-8 and Grades 9-12 in English Language Arts and Literacy, History/Social Studies, Science and Technical Subjects.

    K-8 Collection contains nearly 4,800 titles and eBook High School Collection includes nearly 5,100 titles with new titles added to each collection quarterly. Each collection includes content that spans all academic subjects and incorporates selections of classic literary works, important historical documents and general reference material appropriate for their grade levels.

    The eBook K-8 Collection and eBook High School Collection were designed to provide educators with full-text e-book coverage to support their curricula. To ensure content is relevant and grade appropriate for each specific collection, strict collection development criteria were used when developing these collections.

    The eBook K-8 and High School Collections integrate seamlessly with other EBSCO resources including database subscriptions and perpetual purchase e-books to support a quality learning experience for students across all academic subjects including history, language, literature, science and technology. The collections also include a selection of teacher resources to support educators and administrators.

    The content in K-8 and High School Collections is downloadable to a variety of devices. Chapters may be transferred to Kindles, iPads and other e-readers. Users also have the ability to search alongside other EBSCOhost® content adding magazines, journals and other EBSCOhost resources to their results.
