Choice Awards Six Brill Publications as “Outstanding Academic Titles” in 2020

    Leiden / Boston / Paderborn / Singapore / Beijing – 3 December 2020

Brill is proud to announce that six Brill publications have made Choice magazine’s 2020 list of Outstanding Academic Titles. Selected by Choice review editors, the awarded titles are representative of Brill’s rich publishing program.

This year’s Outstanding Academic Title list includes 531 books and digital resources chosen by the Choice editorial staff from among the over 3,500 titles reviewed by Choice during the past year. The awarded titles have been selected for their excellence in scholarship and presentation, the significance of their contribution to the field, and their value as an important— often the first—treatment of their subject. For more information about their selection criteria, please visit the Choice website.

Our sincere congratulations to the authors and editors of Brill’s winning titles, of which the introductions are freely accessible:

A Companion to Medieval Ethiopia and Eritrea
