~ Four Million Bibliographic References Geared for Engineers, Technicians and Scientists Will Be Available in Base Index of EBSCO Discovery Service™ ~

IPSWICH, Mass. — March 29, 2012 — EBSCO Publishing (EBSCO) continues to expand its access to German content in EBSCO Discovery Service™ (EDS) thanks to a recent agreement with WTI-Frankfurt eG. The agreement allows content from WTI’s TEMA (Technology and Management) database to be available in the Base Index of EDS.

TEMA includes more than four million bibliographic references geared toward engineers, technicians and scientists. Content is pulled from a wealth of sources including: journals, dissertations, reports, conferences and books from databases including DOMA Mechanical and Plant Engineering and WEMA Materials.

Designed to help professionals make quick, decisive and informed decisions, TEMA covers a broad range of subject matter such as:

EBSCO recently added German Theoretical & Empirical Social Research Projects and Social Science Literature (GESIS) content to EDS with the addition of Social Science Research Information System (SOFIS) and Social Science Literature Information System (SOLIS). EBSCO also introduced two German-Language search enhancements — an improved umlaut search and increased support for variants — for EBSCOhost® and EDS users.

WTI-Frankfurt eG is part of a growing list of publishers and other content partners that are taking part in EDS to bring more visibility to their content.
