  • LISWire: Koha Selected by Trillium Lakelands District School Board for Their Secondary School Libraries

    Bethesda, MD – February 4, 2011 – The Trillium Lakelands District School Board in Ontario, Canada has selected LibLime as their vendor to implement and support Koha for all secondary schools in the district, as their next generation, open source, Integrated Library System (ILS).

    The Trillium Lakelands District School Board will be migrating the collections of the following seven secondary schools to Koha from their legacy Winnebago and Follet commercial systems:

    Bracebridge and Muskoka Lakes Secondary School
    Fenelon Falls Secondary School
    Gravenhurst High School
    Haliburton Highlands Secondary School
    Huntsville High School
    I. E. Weldon Secondary School
    Lindsay Collegiate and Vocational Institute

    Each library will take full advantage of LibLime’s first-class implementation services. Under the guidance of a dedicated Project Manager, LibLime librarians, data specialists, and technicians will install Koha, configure the system for each school’s policies & processes, migrate their legacy data, and provide system training for the respective staffs. LibLime will provide libraries in the Trillium Lakelands school district with hosting and maintenance, using their cloud computing platform.
