Bethesda, MD - February 4, 2011 – The Rotunda Libraries at Simon Fraser University have contracted with LibLime to implement Koha as their next generation, open source, Integrated Library System ILS).

The Rotunda Libraries will include collections from three different organizations: Out on Campus, Simon Fraser Public Interest Research Group (SFPIRG), and the Women's Centre. They have selected Koha to help them manage these collections, and they have selected LibLime to provide implementation, support and hosting services.

In the coming months, under the direction of one of LibLime’s dedicated Project Managers, LibLime librarians, data specialists, and technicians, will work to implement Koha. The libraries are automating for the first time, and will be relying on Marcive’s demonstrated expertise to convert their shelf list into Marc bibliographic records. The LibLime Project Manager will work closely with Marcive to ensure that item-specific information is correctly encoded into the bibliographic records. LibLime has worked with Marcive on prior retrospective conversions for Koha. The LibLime implementation team will work closely with staff to complete the system and module configuration followed by staff and system administration training. Once the Rotunda libraries are live on Koha, LibLime will provide annual maintenance and hosting support.
