Norcross, Ga. – November 3, 2009. Integrated Technology Group (ITG), a leading supplier of materials flow automation to libraries and an innovator in EM and RFID-enabled systems, has unveiled its ITG EM/RFID Trade-In Program. At any time in the future, libraries that have purchased an EM security system from ITG can trade up to an RFID system for the guaranteed additional cost of only $1,500 per pedestal. The ITG EM/RFID Trade-In Program takes the stress out of the decision-making process, allowing libraries to make technological advances at their own pace, without dramatic financial consequences.

Alternatively, libraries may purchase ITG’s DiaMond security system that offers both EM and RFID detection. The DiaMond system is ideal for libraries who want to migrate to RFID without immediately replacing all the existing EM tags in their collection.
“We want to grow with our customers,” says ITG President Shai Robkin, “and do so in a way that provides them with maximum flexibility.” With a philosophy built around “Plays Well With Others” interoperability, ITG supplies self-checkout, AMH, inventory/shelf control, and security products to libraries, based on both EM/bar code and RFID technologies. This approach also allows customers to integrate ITG products with those of other companies, one step at a time. The ITG EM/RFID Trade-In Program will save libraries many thousands of dollars in that process.
