International scholarly publisher Brill and China Educational Publications Import & Export Corporation Ltd. (CEPIEC) announced their agreement at the Frankfurt Book Fair to make Brill e-books available on CEPIEC’s newly launched Iresearch online platform.

CEPIEC only recently launched its state-of-the-art Iresearch online platform, which offers publishers’ content for research and reference to institutional customers and readers in China, with both a Chinese and an English interface. The new platform contains sophisticated knowledge graph technology and interactive tools to considerably enhance the search experience for users.

“The decision to join the Iresearch platform fits Brill’s global multi-channel, multi-platform sales strategy, whereby we offer access to our content directly via our own platform Brill.com or through several other third party platforms. We look forward to the collaboration with CEPIEC to increase and facilitate distribution and sales of Brill resources in China,” says Peter Coebergh, CEO of Brill.

“The construction of the Iresearch platform is an important component of CEPIEC’s Digital Development Strategy. The platform integrates high quality electronic book resources all over the world, aiming to provide rich academic research references to our institutional clients and readers. The cooperation with the Iresearch platform is an opportunity to build a closer comprehensive partnership between CEPIEC and Brill. ” says Jianxin Wang, President of CEPIEC.
