    ByWater Solutions Names Joy Nelson Director of Migrations

    ByWater Solutions, an open source community supporter and the U.S.’ forefront provider of Koha support, is happy to announce the promotion of Joy Nelson to Director of Migrations.

    As Director of Migrations, Joy will be responsible for managing the migration team and processes. Her goal is to provide seamless data migrations for ByWater’s library partners to their new Koha systems.

    “I’m proud to announce the promotion of Joy,” said Brendan Gallagher, CEO of ByWater Solutions. “Her knowledge of the industry and customer focus has helped drive the company forward. She will continue to make a big impact in her new role.”

    With more than 10 years of combined experience in database management, software development and libraries, Joy brings a breadth of knowledge and a true love of library data to ByWater Solutions. She will continue to work from the Fort Worth offices with her feline assistants, Dewey and Decimal.
