The Academic Staff College, Mizoram University is going to organize a Refresher Course of three weeks duration in Library and Information Science. The venue of the Refresher Course is Department of Library and Information Science. As per UGC guidelines Lecturers, Assistant Librarian and Documentation Officer in the university system and college librarian in the regular UGC scale are eligible to participate in the said refresher course. Successful completion of Refresher Course is also beneficial for the candidates under UGC Career Advancement Scheme. During the refresher course the participants are entitled for TA/DA as per UGC guidelines. The nominations for Refresher Course should reach the undersigned latest by 31st October 2009. The selected candidates shall be intimated in November 2009.
