Marshall Breeding, of Library Technology Guides, begins the discussion by exploring some of the key trends that have played out recently, including new product trends and the impact that consolidation has had on the options available to libraries. He draws on data collected from a variety of sources. Following this introduction Breeding will facilitate a discussion with industry leaders, addressing a range of relevant topics, including how each organization has responded to the pandemic, and their ongoing development roadmaps. The panel will discuss other topics including how their technology products approach patron privacy, how systems can improve staff efficiency, and opportunities to strengthen engagement with library users through new discovery services, marketing automation services, analytics, and other timely technology products and services.
