ByWater completed the transition of the library's 89,000 plus records from SirsiDynix Symphony and is providing ongoing support services to the library. The library's customized Koha OPAC can be viewed at https://catalog.dhcls.org/.

IT Specialist, Richard Danley, recently commented on the migration, "Transitioning from one ILS to another can be an arduous task. The process of data extraction, importation, and validation can be finicky, and errors may not be discovered until after the system goes live. ByWater's transition team helped us through every step of the operation, making it a smooth change between two very different systems. Our staff were quickly trained, and any kinks were worked out in a very timely manner. After spending more than 20 years with our previous ILS provider, ByWater looks to be a marked improvement.
