    EBSCO Information Services Releases Hispanic American Periodicals Index™
    ~ Coverage of Scholarly Journals on Latin America and the Caribbean ~

    IPSWICH, Mass. — January 17, 2020 — EBSCO Information Services (EBSCO) releases Hispanic American Periodicals Index™ (HAPI), a bibliographic database providing complete citations to the contents of scholarly journals related to Latin America and the Caribbean published around the world since the late 1960s. Hispanic American Periodicals Index, produced by the Latin American Institute at the University of California, Los Angeles, is now available for annual subscription through EBSCO.

    Materials in Hispanic American Periodicals Index encompass a broad range of topics ranging from political, economic and social issues to the arts and humanities. The resource will also benefit researchers looking for Latinx or migration studies content. Hispanic American Periodicals Index currently indexes more than 400 academic, peer-reviewed journals and includes the contents of more than 700 journals dating back to 1968. Hispanic American Periodicals Index provides more than 340,000 citations with links to full text for close to 180,000 of the citations.

    Hispanic American Periodicals Index supports researchers in Latin American studies and is searchable in Spanish, English and Portuguese. Subject indexing allows for easy search from any of these languages.
    The database is accessible via EBSCOhost®, EBSCO’s intuitive research platform, including all standard query, result and linking features.
