    EBSCO Information Services to Be Gold Sponsor at Annual Koha Conference
    ~ Sponsorship and Presentation to Benefit the Open Source Community Conference in Dublin, Ireland ~

    IPSWICH, Mass. — May 9, 2019 — EBSCO Information Services (EBSCO) will be a gold sponsor at the Koha Open Source Library System Annual Conference, KohaCon19. KohaCon19 is being held in Dublin, Ireland, from May 20 – 24. This is a free conference for the Koha open source community, making sponsorships like EBSCO’s essential.

    During KohaCon, community members share their findings and experiences with open source technology in efforts to further develop Koha library automation technology. The conference will include presentations and sessions focusing on technical issues and trainings for librarians.

    EBSCO speakers, Executive Vice President Sam Brooks and Vice President of Open Source Platforms and Communities Christopher Spalding, will be presenting at KohaCon19. Their presentation on Supporting Data Integrations for Open Source Communities will review the areas in which EBSCO provides support for Koha and other open source projects, including financial help, technology advancements and integrations. Additional library automation leaders speaking at KohaCon19 include Ken Chad and Marshall Breeding.

    EBSCO Information Services Names Patricia Carroll as Senior Vice President of Human Resources ~ Carroll Brings More Than 25 Years of Industry Experience to Global Technology Company ~ IPSWICH, Mass. — May 8, 2019 — EBSCO Information Services (EBSCO) announces the hiring of Patricia Carroll as Senior Vice President of Human Resources (HR).
