IPSWICH, Mass. — November 6, 2018 — The American Library Association (ALA) and EBSCO Information Services (EBSCO) are partnering to offer three scholarships to librarians residing outside of the United States who are looking to attend the 2019 ALA Annual Conference & Exhibition.   The application deadline is Jan. 1, 2019, and entries will be evaluated by a jury designated by ALA. Candidates must be an ALA member and submit an essay that answers the question: “Libraries, librarians and researchers become more technologically sophisticated every day.
