    PROVO, Utah, November 1, 2018 –– Backstage Library Works (www.bslw.com) is pleased to announce that Mirage Berry and Linda Knight have been appointed as account representatives for the sales team representing cataloging, digitization, microfilm, authority control, reclassification, data conversion and on-site services.

    Mirage will work with libraries in the District of Columbia, Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Virginia, and West Virginia.

    Linda will work with libraries in Connecticut, Massachusetts, Maine, New Hampshire, New York, Rhode Island, and Vermont.

    Mirage’s experience in the library field includes managing and closing sales opportunities and leads, serving as company representative at trade shows, planning and initiating sales prospecting activities, monitoring and distributing incoming sales leads and coordinating social media efforts within a sales team. Mirage earned a Bachelor’s degree from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.

    When asked about her new position, Mirage commented:

    “I am delighted to be taking on the role of account representative for the Mid-Atlantic region in this newly defined territory. With an extensive background in customer service, years of experience as a library patron at both academic and public institutions, and as the former library support specialist for Backstage, I hope to provide effective council and service to libraries, archives, publishers, and museums considering preservation
    and access.”

    Linda’s experience in libraries includes serving as assistant supervisor, information specialist, reference librarian, technical services specialist, and circulations assistant. Linda earned an MLIS from The University of Illinois, Urbana.

    When asked about her new role at Backstage, Linda remarked:

    “I’m excited to get to know our Northeast clients and see how we can partner together creatively in Authority Control, Digitization, Metadata, Microfilm, and On-Site Services to help make information more available to their patrons and preserve this information for future generations.”
