Duluth, Ga., August 22, 2018: Equinox is pleased to announce the successful migration of Keystone College to Koha.

The migration encompassed 41,028 bibliographic records and 3,561 patrons including bibliographic, patron, item, and transactional data. Equinox provided Koha support, hosting, and auxiliary services to Keystone College as well as implementation and project management. Remote training was also provided by Equinox’s staff. Keystone College was founded in 1868 as Keystone Academy as one of the first institutions of higher education in northeastern Pennsylvania. This year they are marking their 150th Anniversary.

“Equinox and its staff truly embody the spirit of “open source” in sharing expertise and extending collaboration to help build something that makes library life easier,” said Mari Flynn, library technical services coordinator at Keystone College. “Who knew migrating could be so easy and so pleasant?”

Founded in 1999 Koha is the first free and open source library automation package. Equinox's team includes long-standing Koha developers.

"It was inspiring to see the care that the librarians at Keystone College’s Miller Library showed for their patron and item data during the migration process,” said Erica Rohlfs, project manager at Equinox. “We are excited to have them a part of the Koha community. "
