DULUTH, Ga., Nov 30, 2017 -- Equinox is pleased to announce that Cherokee County Public Library successfully migrated to Evergreen within the SC Lends Consortium.
This migration includes more than 32,000 users and over 95,000 bibliographic records. For the migration, Equinox performed the bibliographic data extraction and deduplication, policy configuration, project management and training services. As part of the SC LENDS consortium, Cherokee County Public Library is hosted and supported by Equinox on their industry leading Sequoia platform.
“The Cherokee County Public Library is excited to begin using Evergreen and enjoy its functionality as well as the resource-sharing made possible through the SC LENDS consortium. Migrations are a big project and can feel overwhelming, especially to staff who are concerned or unsure how a new system will work. We have really appreciated Equinox staying in regular contact with us throughout the migration and transition, as well as the training they have provided to help CCPL be prepared for the migration.”-Ben Loftis, Director, Cherokee County Public Library
"Working with the Cherokee staff has been wonderful. As a long time South Carolina resident it has been heartening for me to see SC LENDS prosper over the last nine years and continue to grow throughout that time and speaks to the successful resource sharing model that SC LENDS and many other Evergreen libraries have adopted." - Rogan Hamby, Equinox Data and Project Analyst
