EBSCO Health and Duodecim Partner to Make
DynaMed Plus mit EbM Guidelines™ Available to German Physicians
~ Physicians Will be Able to Search for the Latest
Evidence-Based Information in Their Native Language ~

IPSWICH, Mass. — March 3, 2016 — To ensure that physicians have access to the most current and relevant, evidence-based information available, EBSCO Health is partnering with Duodecim to include German guidelines in DynaMed Plus mit EbM Guidelines™. German users of DynaMed Plus™ will now be able to search for relevant guidelines in German and link out to DynaMed Plus for the latest information on a particular disease or treatment.

The EbM Guidelines from Duodecim are created by Finnish, German and Austrian physicians and edited by a German editorial board. By using DynaMed Plus mit EbM Guidelines, German-speaking users can search and receive results in German, and then link to the relevant topic in DynaMed Plus. This integration will give physicians access to nearly 1,000 primary care practice guidelines and more than 4,300 high-quality evidence summaries supporting the given recommendations as well as more than 4,500 DynaMed Plus topics, including overviews, recommendations, graphics, images, drug content and more.

Professor Andreas Sönnichsen, a leader of the German editorial board along with Doctor Susanne Rabady, says that DynaMed Plus mit EbM Guidelines provides the best features of the best resources for German physicians. “DynaMed Plus mit EbM Guidelines allows German-speaking physicians to utilize the well-known EbM-Guidelines in electronic version in combination with the ability to search in German and find the English evidence-based clinical information in DynaMed Plus. By providing access to both in DynaMed Plus mit EbM Guidelines, we are helping to improve how quickly a physician can get to the right information when and where he or she needs it.”

“With Dynamed Plus mit EbM Guidelines, users have access to the greatest combination of richness of content, frequency of updates and convenience of use,” states Dr. Pekka Mustonen, CEO of Duodecim Medical Publications Ltd.
