    FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

    Duluth, GA —April 16, 2013

The George H. and Ella M. Rodgers Memorial Library in Hudson has selected the Evergreen Open Source Library System to update and replace their current proprietary system. They are the second New Hampshire library system to migrate to the Evergreen platform. Equinox Software has been contracted to provided data migration and staff training services and will provide 24/7 technical support to the library’s Evergreen implementation.

The library will launch the new catalog in May. Patrons can be assured that their holds will remain in the system and all library card information, PINs and system logins will stay the same. The biggest change will be the new look of the catalog as well as some additional features that will be available in the coming months.

According to Charlie Matthews, Rodgers Memorial Library Director, "The library will be closed on Tuesday, April 30 for staff training in order to prepare for this transition. We will keep our borrowers informed throughout this transition, and I encourage anyone with questions or comments to contact me via phone or email."
