  • LISWire: West Nipissing Public Libraries Go Live on Evergreen

    Duluth, GA —June 12, 2012

    The West Nipissing Public Libraries in Ontario have gone live on Evergreen as part of the Blue Sky Consortium. They join North Bay Public Library which has been using the open source software since October. Equinox Software oversaw data migration and implementation and will continue to provide ongoing technical support for the growing consortium.

    Located in Ontario, Canada, West Nipissing Public Libraries consists of five branches in Sturgeon Falls, Cache Bay, Field, River Valley, and Verner. A total of 52,000 bibliographic items and 5,400 patron records were migrated to the new combined catalog which can be viewed at https://evergreen.wnpl.ca.
