Applications are invited from the eligible candidates for the post of

LIBRARIAN & ASSISTANT LIBRARIAN
The appointment will be on purely temporary basis, for a period not exceeding one year or till regular appointments are made,  whichever is earlier.
Qualifications: As per UGC norms. Salary: As per Sixth Pay Commission.
LIBRARIAN Rs. 37400-67000 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 10, 000/-
Minimum Qualifications:
a. Master‟s degree in Library Science / Information Science Documentation with at least 55% of marks or its equivalent grade of 'B' in the UGC seven point scale and consistently good academic record.
b. At least 13 Years experience as Deputy Librarian in University library or any other library statutory
organization or 18 years‟ experience as a College Librarian.
c. Consolidated API score of 400 points.
d. Evidence of innovative Library service and organization of published work.
Desirable: M. Phil. / Ph. D Degree in Library Science / Information Science / Documentation / Archives and Manuscript Keeping.
2. ASSISTANT LIBRARIAN Rs. 15600-39100 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 6,000/-
Minimum Qualifications:
a. Master‟s Degree in Library Science / Information Science / Documentation or an equivalent professional degree with at least 55% of marks or its equivalent grade of „B‟ in the UGC seven point scale plus a consistently good academic record, computerization of library with five years experience
b. Qualifying in the National Level Test conducted for the purpose by the UGC or any other agency
approved by the UGC.
Age: Not more than 45 years
