Bethesda, MD – September 28, 2011 – LibLime, a division of PTFS, and WALDO(Westchester Academic Library Directors Organization) are proud to welcome the Connecticut Historical Society to the LibLime Academic Koha development group. The Society has selected LibLime Academic Koha to replace their legacy Voyager system, because of all of the functional features designed and deployed by the WALDO Development Group, as well as the cost savings in annual support, maintenance, and
hosting. LibLime will provide their professional implementation services to the Society, including project management, data migration, system configuration, and functional & administrative training.

Migrating to LibLime Academic Koha will minimize internal IT resources at the Society as LibLime Academic Koha is a completely web-based solution and LibLime will provide hosting and maintenance, using their distributed computing cloud platform.

The Connecticut Historical Society will join the WALDO Development group, an active partnership of academic and research librarians working to add functionality to LibLime Academic Koha. The ideas from the Historical Society will expand LibLime Academic Koha functionality in areas related to archival collections and other non print media.

Kate Steinway, Executive Director of the Connecticut Historical Society said "we are excited to join such a great community of research libraries and professionals interested in making access on the internet better for all of our patrons."
