    ByWater Solutions Welcomes Joy Nelson as Migration Support Specialist

    ByWater Solutions, an open source community supporter and official Koha support company is proud to welcome Joy Nelson as their Migration Support Specialist. Joy will be working with the rest of the ByWater migration team on the implementation of new customer installations.

    Joy completed her M.I.S. from the University of North Texas and her undergraduate degree from the University of Virginia. She has worked in libraries over the years starting as a library page in the UVA Medical School Library and most recently, as a cataloger for the Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth. Joy's IT work experience involves work in software testing, quality assurance and database management.

    Joy commented on her recent decision to join the ByWater Solutions team;

    "I am very excited to have the chance to join the ByWater Solutions team where I can combine my love of data with my love of libraries to help clients migrate to Koha with a minimum amount of disruption to them and their patrons. ByWater's stellar reputation for bringing high levels of support to libraries initially attracted me to them and I am thrilled to be part of the team!"

    “Making sure ByWater grows internally to keep up with external growth is a major priority" stated Brendan Gallagher, CEO of ByWater Solutions. He continues; "Joy is a perfect fit for ByWater and will be fulfilling a key role in making sure our customers receive the levels of service we are known for regardless of expansion and growth. We are thrilled to have her on as part of the ByWater solution!"
