Wiggin Memorial Library Goes Live on Koha with ByWater Solutions

ByWater Solutions, an open source community supporter and official Koha support company, announced today that the Wiggin Memorial Library of Stratham, NH. is now live on their installation of the Koha integrated library system.

The library's Koha installation went live in late April, and ByWater Solutions will be providing ongoing support and hosting services for them.

Lesley Kimball, Director of the Wiggin Memorial Library, commented on their move to Koha with ByWater Solutions:

"We really wanted to go with Koha/Open Source but were worried about how much technical expertise the library staff would need to have… ByWater Solutions (thanks Ruth!) made the transition so easy and the training really brought us all up to speed so that we felt confident on Go-Live day. The support from ByWater has been excellent and I am so glad that we decided to go this route."

Brendan Gallagher, CEO of ByWater stated: "I am happy to see more and more New Hampshire libraries gravitating toward the direction of open source and Koha. Lesley and the staff of Wiggin have been fantastic to work with and we look forward to a long and productive relationship together."

The Wiggin Memorial Library's online catalog is made up of over 45,000 bibliographic records, and can be viewed at: http://catalog.library.strathamnh.gov/
