In short, we want the website to be useful and fun,” said chief pirate, Scott Stepanski. Stepanski is hopelessly addicted to bookstores and library book sales. He playfully hands out business cards listing himself as “Pirate King” due to an admitted life long love of both books and Gilbert & Sullivan.

Book Sale Pirate’s creator, Scott Stepanski, is a freelance science, nature and travel writer and published author or co-author of two books on geology and gem collecting.
