Requirement of Trainees in IUCAA library, Pune

Applications are invited for trainees at Inter-University Centre for Astronomy and Astrophysics, Pune
No. of vacancies : Two
Educational Qualification : Graduate in Science with Master Degree in Library and Information Science (M.Lib. & I.Sc.) Students who have appeared for final exam and expecting result may also apply)..
Age limit : 25 years
Tenure : 06 Months
Emoluments : Rs. 8000/- p.m.
Nature of Jobs : These trainees will be involved various in-house tasks such as Acquisition, Cataloguing, Serial Control and Circulation, etc and will be exposed to e-environment works as NAS server, creating a database for IRCs collection, creation of database of digitalized IUCAA photographs collection, etc.
