(Calgary, Canada) Hades Publications announced today that the newest edition of the Tesseracts Series, "Tesseracts Twelve",edited by Claude Lalumière, is now available across Canada and the USA, in time for the holidays.
If you have not heard about Tesseracts before, the series is recognized as being a Canadian SF literary legacy - each book is edited by different editors, or collections of editors, and features writings by some of Canada's best Science Fiction and Fantasy authors. This new collection features the writings of E.L. Chen, Randy McCharles, Derryl Murphy, David Nickle, Gord Sellar, Grace Seybold, and Michael Skeet & Jill Snider Lum, with a forward written by Brett Alexander Savory.
The first collection was put together in 1985 by legendary editor Judith Merril. Tesseracts Twelve is the thirteenth book in the series (One through Twelve, and Tesseracts Q which featured Quebec Science Fiction authors).
Many of Canada's premiere writers have contributed at one time or another to various Tesseracts collections - authors such as Robert J Sawyer and Margaret Atwood, plus many others.
Traditionally Tesseracts collections feature Canadian SF short stories and poetry. Tesseracts Twelve is the first book to depart from this format. Still presenting some of Canada's best science fiction writers, Tesseracts Twelve presents a powerful collection of novellas.
Come join in the fun...
